"The Good News! Book Fair" Growth Story

Lizette is the founder of Literacy Advocates USA, a nonprofit organization offering programs that support educators by introducing quality and "curated" reading books and literacy initiatives to students in schools around the country with in-person or virtual book fairs. One of their well-known programs is Good News! Book Fair, founded in 2014, and headquartered in Florida with a second distribution center in Ohio.

Literacy Advocates USA also does consultation, curation, and replenishment of titles to school libraries. Previously, Lizette worked for Channel 23 Univision, The Miami Herald/ El Nuevo Herald, and Channel 51 Telemundo in South Florida. Liz has been interviewed on Fox and Friends, Catholic Connection hosted by Teresa Tomeo, and Driving Home the Faith with Fr. Rob Jack. Lizette is a traditionally published author, and lives in our community with her husband and daughters.
