Day 1

Monday, October 19th

Point of Origin – Overnight Flight

Check-in at Miami Airport at least 3 hours prior to departure for our flight to Madrid, scheduled to depart at 4:55 PM. Check-in, security procedures, and boarding. Overnight flight.

Day 2

Tuesday, October 20th

Arrival in Madrid

Arrival at Madrid Airport. Transfer to our hotel. In the afternoon, opportunity for a first sightseeing tour of central Madrid accompanied by our guide. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.

Day 3

Wednesday, October 21st

Madrid

Full day dedicated to discovering Madrid. Visits include the Almudena Cathedral, the surroundings of the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Madrid.

Day 4

Thursday, October 22nd

Madrid – Ávila

Departure after breakfast toward Ávila. Visits to sites associated with Saint Teresa of Ávila and Saint John of the Cross, including their birthplaces, the Monastery of the Incarnation, and the Cathedral. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Ávila.

Day 5

Friday, October 23rd

Ávila – Cangas de Onís / Covadonga

Early departure toward Cangas de Onís, the first capital of the Christian Kingdom after the Muslim invasion of the Iberian Peninsula. In the afternoon, visit to the Sanctuary of Covadonga, one of Spain’s most important Marian shrines, where the beloved image known as “La Santina” is venerated. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Cangas de Onís or surrounding area.

Day 6

Saturday, October 24th

Cangas de Onís – Santo Toribio de Liébana – Zaragoza

Visit to the Monastery of Santo Toribio de Liébana, one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in Spain and home of the Lignum Crucis, believed to be the largest remaining fragment of Christ’s Cross.

Continue through northern Spain with a visit to a traditional winery in the Rioja region, followed by transfer to Zaragoza. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Zaragoza.

Day 7

Sunday, October 25th

Zaragoza

Full day dedicated to Zaragoza. Visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, where according to tradition the Virgin Mary appeared to Saint James the Apostle. Visit to La Seo Cathedral and free time in the historic center. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Zaragoza.

Day 8

Monday, October 26th

Zaragoza – Montserrat – Barcelona

Departure toward Barcelona with a stop at the Marian Sanctuary of Montserrat. Visit to the shrine of “La Moreneta,” Patroness of Catalonia, set amid the breathtaking landscape of the Montserrat mountain range.

Continue to Barcelona. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 9

Tuesday, October 27th

Barcelona

Visit to the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí. Celebration of the Eucharist, followed by visits to Barcelona Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa María del Mar.

In the afternoon, visit to the Royal Sanctuary of Saint Joseph of the Mountain, an important pilgrimage site dedicated to Saint Joseph. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Barcelona.

Day 10

Wednesday, October 28th

Barcelona – Valencia

Departure for Valencia, a city deeply marked by Christian history and tradition. Arrival and first exploration of the historic center. Celebration of the Eucharist. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Valencia.

Day 11

Thursday, October 29th

Valencia

Pilgrimage through Valencia’s most important spiritual sites. Visit to Valencia Cathedral, home of the Holy Chalice, venerated as the cup used by Christ at the Last Supper.

Visit to the Basilica of the Virgin of the Forsaken, the Church of Saint Nicholas of Bari and Saint Peter Martyr, the Church of the Santos Juanes, and sites associated with Saint Vincent the Martyr.

Holy Mass, personal prayer, and time for reflection. Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Valencia.

Day 12

Friday, October 30th

Valencia – Miami

Breakfast. Transfer to Valencia Airport at the scheduled time for the return journey via Madrid to Miami.
